The intercooler connections on a Porsche 997 Turbo are the same type as the lower radiator hose connection on an Audi 2.7T motor. For giggles most likely.

It’s almost like they are owned by the same company.... Oh wait.....

I bet the Porsche version costs 3x as much.

Well, duh. It wouldn’t be a Porsche if it didn’t.

Lovely!
I wonder if you can hook the RS4 version onto the P-car, but then the pipes won’t fit! HAH!

The charge air coolers on the B5 S4/RS4 use jubilee clips to hold the turbo -> CAC -> Divert valve housing hoses on.
But it uses that stupid spring clamp for the lower radiator hose to radiator connection.

I remember the B5 RS4 using larger diameter pipes than the S4 to/from the turbochargers and intercoolers. My memory may be hazy, though.

They are larger on the RS4, which is why converting to K04s can easily be done by going to an RS4 intake.
However, the jubilee clamps are still the method of connection for hose to SMIC end tank. Porsche decided the way to go was the spring clips.
